Intro to Clicker Training

This class briefly touches on the benefits of Clicker Training and the science behind it. Then it jumps right into clicker training tricks and foundation skills using targeting, capturing and shaping. We will also work on the mechanics of using the clicker, delivery of treats and observational skills. Bring a hungry dog and lots of tasty treats! Prerequisite: Puppy Basic or Adult Basic and ability to focus in a class situation and working with distractions. No prior experience with a clicker is necessary. Dogs DO attend all five weeks of class. Dogs should be comfortable remaining in the car for the first 10-15 minutes of class one and periodically throughout the classes for a short time.
